-----------------------------

Doh Zat, meaning ‘Our Stories’ in Burmese, is a digital platform where we tell our stories and experiences of physical, psychological and sexual abuse, violence, and harassment/bullying based on gender, age, race and ethnicity, and sexuality.

We believe that art can be a powerful tool for healing, community building, communication, and social change. We work with artists to use different mediums to amplify the experiences of victims and survivors such as illustration, performance, music, painting, cartoons and comics, animation, poetry, crafts, posters, and film. Through artistic expression, we communicate with the public and raise awareness about the issue of abuse and violence with the aim of working towards a better world. We also work with local artisans to produce quality sustainable products such as tote bags, jewelry, and art prints to support our victims/survivors and women and children at risk.
